October is Niemann-Pick disease type C Month to raise awareness for those living with and dying from NP-C.
To find a solution, we need to first know the issue. The average time to diagnose NP-C is five years. Each year this foundation aims to reduce the time to diagnose by supporting the Australian professional and local community who are unfamiliar with NP-C to recognise the key signs and symptoms of the disease.
We are watching our children slowly lose their ability to play, learn, walk, eat... and live.
Help us raise awareness of the incurable and neurologically degenerative conditions: Niemann-Pick type C (NPC) and Acid sphingomyelinase deficiency (ASMD).
All funds donated or raised will be contributed towards supporting families and research conducted at The Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health.
